The Roberts 10-482G Cool Shield is a heat bond seaming iron that melts 3 inch seam tape quickly while keeping the top shield cooler. At the highest setting of 425°F, the heat shield tops out at 256°F.
Best for: Carpet installers seaming at walls and in finished rooms who want less heat on the carpet.
