Description
Ardex MRF is a moisture-resistant, rapid-drying, trowel-grade skimcoat patching underlayment. It's a blend of Portland cement and other hydraulic cements, and it gives you a smooth surface before you install ARDEX MC moisture control systems or moisture-resistant adhesives and flooring.

Mixing
Use 1.75 quarts (1.65 L) of water per 10 lb (4.5 kg) bag. For a smaller batch, mix 3.25 parts powder to 1 part water by volume.
Coverage per 10 lb bag
- 28 sq ft at 1/8 in. (2.6 sq m at 3 mm)
- 56 sq ft at 1/16 in. (5.2 sq m at 1.5 mm)
- 200 to 250 sq ft as a skim coat (18.6 to 23.2 sq m)
Coverage changes with the texture of the surface you're smoothing.
