Description
Ardex K 15 is the original premium self-leveling underlayment and one of the most specified in North America. It is a polymer-modified, Portland cement based mix that pours or pumps to a smooth, flat surface before new flooring is installed.
Use it on interior concrete, terrazzo, ceramic and quarry tile, epoxy coatings, wood, metal and non-water-soluble adhesive residue. It works on, above or below grade, and it is suitable over in-floor heating.
- 55 lb (25 kg) bag, mixed with water
- Covers about 30 sq ft at 1/4 in
- Pours 1/8 in to 1-1/2 in neat, up to 5 in with aggregate, and feathers to a thin edge
- Walkable in 2 to 3 hours
- Tile and stone in 6 hours, other floor coverings in 16 hours
- 5,500 psi compressive strength at 28 days, zero VOC
- Prime concrete with Ardex P 51, or use Ardex P 82 on non-porous surfaces
